Empowering Women at SHE-TECH Asia Forum

We're thrilled to share the success of our recent interactive session at this year’s IDECS Convention, part of the SHE-TECH Asia Forum, where Strive Malaysia team presented an empowering workshop on "Women Leadership through Innovation and Digitalization."

Led by our amazing team—Syasya Roslan (Communications Officer), Lau Li Yang (Program Officer), and with the invaluable support of FutureLab Trainer Sarah Lasung—this session was designed to uplift women entrepreneurs and leaders in Malaysia. We introduced the Strivers’ Hub platform and shared insightful findings from our Needs Assessment report, shedding light on the unique challenges faced by women in business and tech.

The workshop, broken into key activities, focused on identifying the barriers women leaders face, particularly in relation to gender norms, time poverty, and inclusive leadership. Participants worked in groups to brainstorm solutions and explore how mentorship, networking, and inclusive leadership can transform the landscape for women-owned businesses.

We’re excited to continue working towards a more inclusive future for women leaders in the digital economy. Together, we’re not only supporting women in business but also laying the foundation for future leaders.
